The Almonte Curling Club has many different leagues for curlers of all levels of experience. Fixed team leagues offer a mildly competitive feel while social leagues are more recreationally and socially oriented. Curlers with under five years of experience are encouraged to play in our Tuesday evening U5 league to further hone their curling skills.
New curlers are invited to enrol in our Learn to Curl (LTC) program where the basics of curling, rules and practice are taught in a fun environment. Graduating members are then able to apply their new skills by playing the remainder of the season in the Tuesday evening U5 league at no further cost.
For kids and youth curlers under 21, we have a variety of leagues. From 7 to 12 years, our Little Rocks program teaches kids to curl with accredited coaches and a focus on skills development, playing the game, and having fun. Our U18 and U21 programs continue this focus. Youth at all levels get the opportunity to play at the club and to expand their experience outside the club at interclub bonspiels for their league.

Learn to Curl - FILLED
The Learn to Curl program is suited for beginners who have never curled before or people coming back to curling after a long absence. Learn the basics of curling, rules and practice.
Sunday afternoons, 1:30-3:30 pm
The cost is $200.00, which includes HST. The season starts on October 15, 2023 and ends on January 31, 2024. Graduating members are invited to join the Tuesday evening U5 (Under 5 years experience) League to play for the remainder of the season (March 31) at no further cost.
Monday Morning - Ladies Social - FILLED
Are you a stay-at-home mom, do you have a flexible work schedule or are you retired? Would you like to learn to curl or improve your game in a friendly, supportive environment?
The Monday Morning Ladies League is the ideal league for: new curlers; curlers with limited experience; and for experienced curlers seeking additional on-ice time. This is a morning of fun, non-competitive play. The teams are made up each Monday giving you the freedom to come when you are available.
Monday mornings, starting at 9:45 a.m.
Cost is $250.00 which includes the $13.25 CurlOn fee, $80.00 Volunteer Fee and HST. The season starts on October 16, 2023 and ends on April 1, 2024.
Monday Evening - Junior - Under 18
Open to young curlers up to 17 years old.
Monday evenings, 5–7 p.m.
Cost is $90.00. The season starts October 16, 2023 and ends April 1, 2024.
Monday Evening - Junior - Under 21
Open to young curlers up to 20 years old.
Monday evenings, 5–7 p.m.

Monday Evening - Social
Are you new to Mississippi Mills? Would you like to meet new people? The Monday Night Open League is the ideal mixed, social league for: new curlers; curlers with limited experience; and for experienced curlers seeking additional on-ice time. Our more experienced members are always more than willing to help novice members learn and understand more about the “roaring game”. This is an evening of fun, non-competitive play. The teams are made up each night, giving Monday night curlers more freedom to come when you are available. Once you have registered for Monday night, you will be placed on a team if and when you show up. You don’t have to worry about getting a spare if you can’t make it. We are encouraging new members and all levels of curlers to participate in this very fun league.

Tuesday Evening - U5 Social
This league is designed for those curlers with limited experience and who may feel initmidated playing alongside long time curlers. Everyone in this league has 5 years or less experience curling. It is of particular relevance to graduates of our L2C program who may join at no cost upon completion of the L2C program.

Wednesday Evening - Fixed
Teams register and play together for the whole year. In some cases these teams may have played together for many years. Teams will be seeded into two divisions. There will be three full draws followed by playoffs. Teams will move up and down between the divisions after each draw.

Friday Evening - Social - FILLED
The Friday social is exactly that. A chance to curl in a non-competitive environment where the emphasis is meeting other club members and having some fun to wind the week down. You can register as an individual.

Afternoon Day Curling - Full Season
The day curlers have four days (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday) available to curl. The teams are made up on a first come, first served basis each day. When there are too many curlers, the late arrivals sometimes share a spot or they may have to go home. Hopefully this does not happen too often during the season.
The first draw starts on October 10, 2023 and the second draw starts on January 15, 2024, ending on April 5, 2024.
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, starting at 1 p.m.
Cost is $455.00 for a full season or $240.00 for a half season, which includes a one time $13.25 CurlOn fee, $80.00 Volunteer Fee and HST.
Afternoon Day Curlers - Winter Draw
The day curlers have four days (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday) available to curl. The teams are made up on a first come, first served basis each day. When there are too many curlers, the late arrivals sometimes share a spot or they may have to go home. Hopefully this does not happen too often during the season.
The Winter draw starts October 10, 2023 and ends January 12, 2024.

Social Member
For people who do not want to curl in a league but wish to participate in ACC bonspiels or special events. Note that this membership does not allow you to spare in a league.
